Agreement

By downloading, accessing, or using the lllanguage mobile application or this website (together, the “Service”), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

The Service is operated by Alexander Cannon in California, USA. Contact: support@lllanguage.com.

The Service

lllanguage is a language-acquisition tool for adult learners. It is not a formal course, accredited program, or guarantee of fluency. Features may change, pause, or end as the product develops.

Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old (or the higher digital-consent age in your country) and able to form a binding contract. The Service is aimed at adults.

Accounts

You sign in with email and a one-time code. You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping access to your email secure. Provide accurate information and tell us promptly if you believe your account has been compromised.

License

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Service for your own language learning. You may not copy, reverse engineer, resell, or misuse the Service except as allowed by law.

Your content

You retain rights in content you submit (phrases, notes, and recordings). You grant us a license to host and process that content solely to operate and improve the Service for you. Practice-partner audio may only be saved when you confirm the partner agreed.

Do not upload content that you do not have the right to share, that is unlawful, or that infringes others’ rights.

Acceptable use

• Do not attempt to disrupt, probe, or abuse the Service or its infrastructure.
• Do not use the Service to harass others or to record people without required consent.
• Do not use automated means to scrape or overload the Service without permission.

Third-party services

Sign-in and hosting rely on third-party providers (including Supabase). Their terms and privacy practices apply to their processing. App Store and Google Play terms also apply when you obtain the app through those stores.

Disclaimer

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. Learning outcomes depend on you; we do not warrant specific results.

Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Alexander Cannon is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, profits, or goodwill arising from your use of the Service. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time and may request account deletion as described at lllanguage.com/delete-account. We may suspend or end access if you breach these terms or if we discontinue the Service.

Privacy

Personal data is handled as described in the Privacy Policy.

Changes

We may update these terms. Continued use after the updated date means you accept the revised terms. If you do not agree, stop using the Service.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict of law rules. You and we agree to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in California for disputes arising out of these terms, except where mandatory consumer protections in your place of residence require otherwise.
